I have a 87 kdx200 that had a cylinder go and I am wondering if you can put a kx250 cylinder on it? if so do you guys know where I could find one? thanks

I think all KX250 engines are entirely different from your KDX. However, some places can re-sleeve your cylinder with a big bore piston, up to 240cc. You may be able to use your stock cylinder, depending on how and where it is damaged.

I am pretty sure that the KDX lower cases started life as a KX125 so your 250 cylinder would not work.

DWreck is spot on. The KDX200 evolved from the KX125 and it has a much shorter stroke than a KX250. Forget it. Go with a sleeve, a replating job, or replacement jug.
