I have a 87 kdx200 that had a cylinder go and I am wondering if you can put a kx250 cylinder on it? if so do you guys know where I could find one? thanks
I think all KX250 engines are entirely different from your KDX. However, some places can re-sleeve your cylinder with a big bore piston, up to 240cc. You may be able to use your stock cylinder, depending on how and where it is damaged.
DWreck is spot on. The KDX200 evolved from the KX125 and it has a much shorter stroke than a KX250. Forget it. Go with a sleeve, a replating job, or replacement jug.
