What are some significant changes that can be made to make a stock kdx200 lighter?

An aftermarket exhaust not only improves performance but sheds a few pounds.

I also noticed that the stock rear fender is quite heavy compared to an MX style replacement.

You can also remove the headlight and kickstand.

Take off the coolant reservoir bottle.

Good deal. Yeah a nice diet always helps! LOL. Would that actually be safe to remove the reservoir bottle? How about different parts to the engine? Is there anything compatible aftermarket? Or is it not worth it to go that far in detail? Thanks to all you've been a great help.

Run lighter weight oil in the tranny. Lighter fork and shock oil as well. I shed 2 oz's buy doing this. Really noticable! ;)
