KDX220 Big Bore ??????

Two years ago I purchased a used 97 KDX220r for my 14 year son(6-1, 195pds now). Since then his riding interest have gone from trail riding with me to motorcross and free style. He's managed to beat the KDX up pretty well and I'm sure its needing a new top end now.
Is there a big bore kit I should consider- OR just bag the KDX and go to a KX ot CR????? :confused:

Sounds like he spends most of his time in the air. I would get him an MX bike for the suspension alone, its easy to make the KDX go fast but the suspension just wasn't made for freestyle.

We moto'd KDX's for a couple years. Resulted in too many injures from weak suspension. Trade it in for a KX

I think you are all right. He really loves the track and getting air. I have to twist his arm to ride a trail. KX250 or MXC300?
