I was watching  GP a few night ago and fell asleep. I thought it was because it was early in the morning but after reading through the thread, I'll conclude it was the announcers. Yawwnnnn. The only thing that was keeping me awake was the roar of Townley's engine. That coverage would have been better with microphones placed around the track and just listening to the motors.  :(

Myself, I like Cameron Steele but it wouldn't matter if it was Vin Scull announcing. I would watch regardless. When Iamb watching SX or MAX, I like to feel the energy of Steele or Bernardo. I've never heard Bailey or some of the other guys but from their description here, I imagine they were pretty good. Yeah, those canadian announcers are pretty good too. Even though most of us put MX or SAX as the #1 sport of all time, we have to recognize that it's just a drop in the pan to some of the other sports and we should be happy with what we get. MAX is blowing up and I like the direction it is heading.

BAD, it must have been pretty cool listening to Bailey call people out.
