Kickstart For Kdx 200

Hi,

I'm in the UK and have just acquired a 1987 KDX 200 C1. I have just rebuilt the top end with a Weisco Piston kit and for a '87 bike she looks really keen. Only problem is the kickstart has been butchered at some point and I need to try to locate another. I am new to KDX's, is this a common problem? Will a kickstart off any other bikes fit? Appreciate some help with this one guys, so I can ride the bloody thing!!!
Apparently they go alright!!!!!!
