I service mine this week and found some interesting changes from the 01.
The 01 was stiff in LSC and HSC and rebound-this in a way was good as for a keen amature it means i have loads of shims to play with.
The 02 was a little softer in LSC with a larger crossover gap 0.3mm(not seen one that big before)then the high speed compression was alot softer.
This backed up my riding impressions-stiff initially but then it tended to blow through the stoke easily and bottom on high speed hits.The rebound was still fairly stiff and dead feeling like last years but its at least Honda are going the right way.
The piston band showed surprising wear for only 2 hours riding.
To get the best setting for a std shock i would try full soft on LSC and leave the high speed adjuster where it is.
On rebound turn it a few clicks softer(quicker)
