You twist then release the throttle to rev the motor, the motor rev's up fine but it is slow to rev down to idle. The twist throttle grip works fine and returns to it's idle stop normally after reving
You can hear it *snap* back after you let go of the throttle after twisting it all the way to its stop? (engine off of course)
Also timing and valve clearance can play a part.
