KTM 02 250SX Fuel tank valve??

When I picked up my new 02 250SX the fuel tank valve was installed with the lever faceing the engine the dealer sed that is the way it cane out of the crate the bolt patern will let you install it eather way. the parts manual shows the lever faceing the engine. allso other bikes on the show room floor have the lever faceing towards the rider.
Has any one recived there KTM with the fuel tank lever faceing the engine??????

Mine is facing front towards handlebars. I assume you can loosen nut and move it around.

You can do this and it will work just fine.
Some of the pro riders I know have done this including Kelly Smith when he was riding the 520sx.
