Hey Spodes,
I saw a nice looking bike in the paper yesterday, and I was wondering if you all had opinions. The bike was a 2000 KTM 200 MXC with new brake pads and acerbis handguards. Assuming the guy took good care of the bike (it sounded like he barely rode it, and kept it nice) is $3100 a good price? I ride mostly trails with some wide woods and some fire roads-type stuff. I'm not a good rider, so I don't like to necessarily go fast. Once in a while I get to do some jumps...would the bike handle this well? I've forgotten what the deal with the MXC is...6 speed? Big tank? Anything special? Any opinions greatly appreciated ;)

Sounds like this one is in there, especially if there's a little negotiating room. By the way, I hear the KTM200 series are about the best two strokes you can get for off-road. Good luck!

I've rode a friends M/XC last weekend and she wants to sell it......to buy a GasGas EC200.. The bike is VERY clean! Power comes on very strong right off the bottom and pulls hard. I thought the gear spacing was a tad too close for offroad use! But, for it's intended purpose MX/Cross Counrty it would be fine!
The price sounds right $3100.00
