I am removing the head from my 2000 KTM 250EXC for the first time. The head bolts seemed very tight while I was attempting to remove them. Just wanted to make sure they are not reverse threads. Don't what to get tough with it and screw something up. Are the head and cylinder bolts standard threads? Thanks for the help.

I would highly recomment NOT tightening them to torque specs as indicated in the manual. I stripped one of them on my '99..was an easy fix but annoying. I now use a 13mm wrench and get them as tight as they'll go.
