When I first got my Montesa Eric's buddy Dave Rorhschneider came by the shop and was showing me a few things on it. Dave is a multi time National trials champ and just flat amazed me at what it was possible to make a trials bike do in an industrial park. It's great to have a bike that you can ride pretty much anywhere there is a little space and still have a lot of fun.
Trials bikes rock... this is pretty much why I bought a KDX 220 and not a KTM.
I love my KDX, just give me four tight turns and I'll smoke any KTM in a race. :nener: The truth of the matter is Wolf knows that too. :)
KDX = woodsbike
trials bike = go anywhere
KTM = super motard Trials pictures
I should have titled this thread differently:
My impressions of the EXC 250 "compared" to my EG KDX 225, at the request of some folks in this KDX forum.
and I should have added a disclaimer....
This thread is not intended to offend anyone, it is not intended as a comparison. I really have no idea what I'm talking about, and....consider the source (to quote CC)
