hi, my dad was tellign me that i should only grease the swinging arm every other time i ride? is he right?

Once a year maybe, every two rides seems quite excessive, some people never grease the swing arm and linkage.

mine needs to be greesed, it getting to become really squeaky and really annoying when you push the bike or sit on it and kick start it. I just need time on the weekend.
