kx year

does any one know when kawasaki started to make air-cooled kx 80's? I just got one but can't get a vin number or any thing so i can't figure out the exact year but if i could just get an approximation. I do know that it was before 1987 because those kx 80 were liquid-cooled.

I took a quick look and it seems the aircooled KX80 was made from '79 to '82. Aircooled KDX80's were made for quite a bit longer, though.
