1) your physical size (both height and weight are important)- im 5"3 and about 135-140lbs

2) How physical / aggressive are you ? not very

3) what do you plan to ride- MX/SX tracks, woods, fields with friends or ?????- MX tracks and woods/trails

4) Do you have any riding experience?- DRZ125L for 2 years and PW80 before for 4 years

5) Do you think you will race ?- probably not but possibly

6) Are you mechanically inclined and will you be doing your own bike work?- No

7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke)? What ever is best for me

8) Do you have a dealer close by your home that you might use and what brand(s) does he carry? Yes two dealers one carries Yamahas and Kawasaki and the other is Suzuki the honda dealer burnt down :(

9) How much ($) do you plan to spend on a bike? 2000 for a used

10) Do you live in California? No

11) Your age? 13

12) anything else that you think would help form an opinion- Well i want a bike with more speed, acceleration, and suspension and i plan jumping 10ft doubles and 15ft table tops and smaller jumps and sometimes trail riding

crf150 kicks ass! it is a real power house and is probably the most fun play bike i have ever ridden. but in that price range there is no chance there just to new better to just fork out the cash for a new one if you really want that bike cuz it will only be like a couple hundred cheaper and might as well get something you know won't have problems from the beginning. but the kx100 is awesome to and is cheap.

Coming from a four stroke, you may be more comfortable on one, but the 100's have a nice spread of power for a two-stroke. If you have a track near you, try to get a ride or two from someone who has either bike.

get the kx100. if you arent doing your own work on the 150R it will get VERY expensive. they need a lot of maintenance.

well its not that expensive if you can do the work your self. but if you have to take it to a shop constantly its not worth it.

when i say maintenance though i dont mean like changing the oil. i mean like checking the valve clearance and rebuilding the top end. if you can do that though it is one amazing bike.

Which bike is better on the suspension part and the acceleration part? I know the kx100 is two stroke but ive heard alot about the 150r.

good call.

on acceleration the 150R will win cuz it has more bottom end torque. they both have MX suspension though.
