kx250 - Fluds Quickly During Low RPM

At low rpm, my kx 250(1992) floods within a minute. I don’t know why. It runs fine once it's warm but when its cold I always am risking a cold seize by giving it a few revs. You don't see it coming either, it will sound healthy but then within a second it sound like it doesn't even have spark as it dies.

sounds as though it might be running a little rich, have you checked your flot level, it affects the idle a lot.
