I searched, but could not find much info on my question. Would it make any sense to consider converting my stock KDX220 forks (2002) to KX500 forks (2000's)? Main riding purpose is trail (rocky and hilly). Can get forks fairly cheaply, but not sure there is enough advantage to go through the conversion process. Appreciate thoughts since I am totally unfamiliar with the KX500. Thanks.
