Langston out for Pontiac

Racer X has learned that Grant Langston, the Red Bull KTM 125 team leader for the 125 East Region Supercross Series, crashed earlier this week in practice and will apparently sit out the final round of the series at Pontiac this weekend. According to Grant's father, Gerald, the rider is not badly injured, just a little bruised, and will be ready to go for the 125 AMA/Chevy Trucks U.S. National MX Championships beginning next month at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California

I don't know what to think about that guy anymore. Not that this is any big deal, but I thought he was one of the toughest *******s I'd ever seen last year. He seems to stop competing now at the drop of a hat. Last year, he was an entirely different rider. Even in the SX season, where he blew it big in Houston, then came back to kick everyone's ass in the next round. I certainly thought he would be tougher than this this year. There's not even a mention of him competing in Vegas????

I was rooting for that guy bigtime this year. He's starting to look like a whiner to me now. Maybe he needs a stiff kick in the ass from Alby. :silly:
