nobody said using the correct technique would be easy. Like the others have said, conciously make the effort to keep your foot on the peg. set up a practice area, and practice. Once you have done it heaps and heaps of times, go home and let your brain sort out the infromation. Next ride, forget about it and let your cerebellum take control. The informatiion is there, so let your subconcious take command. This is what seperates a pro from an new comer. Subconcious control. It has to be, because there is too many things to concentrate at once. Body positioning, elbows up, door knob technique on the throttle, extend your inside leg, weight the outside peg, so on and so on. Can you really concentrate on all these areas at once? of course not, so we practice each one conciously until they are habbit, then we take out the concious thought and let our subconcious control the show.
The human brain is the most complex machine on earth. We still don't know how information is processed and stored, and the complextivity of having 1 neurone joined to 10,000 other neurones is amazing. You are capable of much. much more than you think, and most of us are not using out most powerful instrument to its potential. Get out there and practice!
