I have an 03 RM250 that I purchased used. It was jetter for 4000 to 5000 feet and I live and ride at 1000 feet. I pulled the carb to clean it and rejet and I removed the tps sensor from the carb. OOPS. I have jetted all over the place and it some times stalls just off idle when I go to 1/2 throttle or so. :bang:

I know that you can set the tps with an ohm meter but I dont know what the values are or any of the procedures are.

Anybody, any help.
Thanks,
Kevin

I have an 03 too, FMF Fatty Pipe, And a Boysen Rad Valve.

Stock jetting should be:
Main:175
Needle: N8RH-3rd
Slow Jet:48
Power Jet: 50
Slide: 6.5
Airscrew: 1 1/2 turns

Suggested jetting from: http://www.mx-stuff.com/jettingspecs.htm

2003 SUZUKI RM250
Main...165
Pilot...45
Needle...stock
Clip...2nd
Air screw...1 1/2 turns
Slide...7.0

I run:
Main:165
Needle: N8RH-2nd clip (from the top)
Slow Jet:45
Power Jet: 50
Slide: stock
Airscrew: between 1 and 1 1/2 turns out

Run the highest octane you can find. I had problems jetting with pump gas. I prefer to run straight race fuel. (Leaded 108 octane) I use Sunoco's Cam2 purple. Most guys I ride with use C12. All told me I would notice a difference with race fuel. Since I switched, I will never go back to pump gas.

Good luck, Steve.
