Well, the AMA fired it's first major shot in the battle for the premier Supercross series in 2003 and beyond. They announced a deal with the Speed Channel (currently Speedvision) to air a full 3 hrs of live SX coverage for each race.
So who's going to prevail? The AMA with the superior TV coverage (and perhaps lesser stadiums) or ClearChannel with the premier stadiums and an inconsistent (to be kind to ESPN2) television package?
This is a shame. I wish we could have the best of both worlds...
