Hi, I'm seriously thinking of opening a motocross facility near where I live, I'm 100% sure it would work, save one thing... What to do durring the winter. I live in Canada, so for 5 or so months there is snow, which means the track would be unridable, which means $0 profit, which wont make the rent for the land...

Soooooooo..... Anyone have any ideas on what could be done with a big peice of flat land durring the winter? I've thought of snowcross... but I really don't think there is the interest needed. Mind you I'm not involved in snowmobiles, so don't know much about anything concerning them...

Lack of income durring the winter months is basically the only problem I have to starting this thing up...

Thanks!

I know what could be done with a big flat piece of land in the winter! But it's gonna cost alot of money.Indoor motocross track! I'm in Brantford Ont. Canada,we used to have two indoor tracks one in London and one in Dunville. Unfortunatly they did not last more than two years.I think there problems were insurance costs,so I'm told, but they should have charged more money to ride, people will pay big bucks to ride indoors in the winter. If I ever win the lottery.Anyhow just a thought.

Thomas, I live about 20 minutes away and own a company that might be the solution to the indoor riding issue. I've been in talks with KTM St-Bruno and some private investors out of Sherbrooke, and their biggest issue was procuring a central location (ie. Lachute was discussed, as was Cornwall, Ont.) I'm not going to promote business on someone else's website, so email me. valleycoverall@sympatico.ca
