looking into a banshee

hey for the winter i want to buy a quad and i found a 2000 yamaha banshee on craigslist and i havent seen the quad yet but is there anything that i should look at on the quad so i dont get screwed after buying it. the quad is only 1600$ which kinda makes me seem like somethings wrong with it but he says it runs good. i dont have any experience with quads i have only dirtbiked in my life so any info would be helpful thanks!

I don't think you'll get a lot of inside Banshee tips here. The price doesn't seem to off to me since they are pretty dated after being surpassed by the Raptor and then the YFZ for race quads.
