lowering front of ktm 2002

I would like to lower the front of a 2002ktm exc 1" do I cut the springs or add spacers?. Thanks, Don

hello niteman . its probably easier to just cut the springs but youre way better off adding a travel limiter on top of the top out spring in the fork cartridge . While youre there you might want to look at those top out springs as they dont last forever . MXtech has them in stock with a new design ,theyre a little different.. For a 1inch drop cant you just drop the triple clamps a bit and run more sag in the rear. i guess you already tried this, also dropping the front of that 200 an inch without doing anything to the rear might make that bike very skitterish.Good luckmyfriend
