I trailered my bike down to Mesquite NV. last month. The wonderful state of Idaho and Utah use this to keep the roads ice free. Well, I never really thought the stuff would do this much damage...i was wrong. After 2 hours of scrubbing with scotch brite and sos pads i thought i had it gone. Nope! I went out today and it has started to eat away at my frame again. I polished it when i was done last time and now there are pits all over it and i can see cloudiness coming back. This is my 3rd aluminum framd CR and know how to take care of them...this i can't fix. Anyone know what to do? :worship:

I thought if you just washed it with soap and water throughly it would stop it... I guess it doesn't. I'd call up your local high school and talk to a chemistry professor. Seriously, they would probably love it and use it in a lesson the next day.
