Making Yamaha Side Panels blue?

So my wife hates the white side panels of her otherwise blue/black TTR but unfortunately nobody makes sticker kits or anything for the TTR. I want to simply make them blue. Can you purchase basic Yamaha blue sheets to stick on and cut them yourselves? Do I need to try to paint them?

you could probably go to a local graphics place and get you some blue vinyl and cut it to fit the side panels. In my experience, the local outfit here did not carry the thick stuff that the moto companies use to make backgrounds, but if you're real gentle it'll last a while.

an acrlic paint would do the job too on the gaurds maybe a sign maker could help
