Hello, I need to know all I can about repairing my bike. What group of books and manuals or any other form of literature are out there? I want to get instructions on absolutley every little possible operation on my bike.
All you need is the owners manual. It tells where every gear and bolt goes to.
Nothing else is needed. I have a ' 98 , it has a flat top piston , is not compatable with ' 97 or '99 cylinders. The bike is slow , but handles like a torquey 125. Suspension was near the top in ' 98 . DO NOT go any leaner than stock , unless you use race gas. Throw away the stock air cleaner element and get a twin air. DO NOT waste your money on a FMF fatty for this bike either, you won't find any extra power that way either.
