Hello everyone I 'm new here and have a few questions. First of all my bike is a 1993 KDX200 with factory usd forks. I have just purchased new .40 Fredette springs and new seals and bushings. I also got the tool used to measure the amount of oil in the forks. The problem I am having is that it came without instructions. The manual calls for 80mm of fork oil fully compressed without the spring. eveyone suggests about 110-115 mm of oil. Well using it the way it came suggests that 110mm of oil is less than 80mm of oil. Is this right? The measuring device is nothing more than a large syringe with a about a foot of clear tube on it with a piece of metal tubing about a foot long. It has a locking ring that is adjustable for the amount of oil you want. The metal tube is devided up in mm's. If I stick it in the top of the fork tube at 110mm that would be less oil than at 80mm. Wouldn't you want a little more oil than less oil? Thanks Vinny
