I just got my Dirt Bike Mag yesterday. In it is an article about cold/severe weather riding and theres some pictures from some of our winter rides in it. Al Randt did a section of the article. I was there the day we took a picture of Al's leg in the over the boot pants. No pictures of me this time, my agent said they wouldn't anny up the price now that I'm famous in Transworld MX! :) All those KTM shots are from the Michigan rides.

I saw the article and thought it had some good tips. It's been a good winter here in the Midwest for cold riding tips. I too am glad I met you before you were famous.

Can Fred even find time for trail rides and pit bike racing anymore since he is SO busy with his EE and Lansing Cycle buds?!?!?! That is the real question!!!! :) pretty cool.........

Nope, some things ya just gotta do your self! :laugh: As far as my agent, I just told him not too many photp ops, I gotta have time to ride too. :aj:

Anyway, the issue is March 2003. I thought it was pretty cool to see some of my KTM riding buds in the photos. Looks like they got Leroys best side - :moon: :laugh:

Geez! I had to go back and add to my post over in the "Your Brush With Fame" thread!

..."Ya, I knew Fred T back in the day when he was just 'Fred T'. Then he became 'Fast Freddy', then it was 'Factory Fast Freddy', and now, 'Famous Factory Fast Freddy'. Heard he's getting a special set of EE bark busters made up by his sponsor so the engraving will fit!

Man, what a way to make sure dirtbikes are justified at this snowy season...wish I had the a little more resources for this activity...
looks better than sledding...
