Guys, Guys, Guys, Being an avid gamer(read: most of my life from atari to tope end computer gaming) I can assure you the PS2 does not "eat the xbox's lunch". I am an owner of PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube. So this is from first hand experience. What we have to consider here is the fact that xbox and gamecube are new systems, they have only been out for a couple weeks. Comparatively the xbox and GC launch BLEW away Sony's PS2 launch (I know I was one of the ones who waited 7 hours in line for PS2 and the one and only stellar game at launch[SSX]). Certainly PS2 has more games it has been out for a year. But guess what, xbox is getting previously PS2 exclusive games, such as: Crash Bandicoot, and Metal Gear Solid. So to say xbox will not have as good a line up is just not true. In fact Xbox and GC look to have very competent line ups. Sure they don't nearly as many games as PS2, but you must remember they are new launches. As far as hardware there really is no comparison. The xbox and GC are far superior. In fact PS2 is very difficult to program. the new systems are much more friendly in that department. It is correct to say that XB and GC have not even been scratched as to their potential. PS2 will not get much better if any at all. And the graphics in games like Madden don't look nearly as good as they do on xbox. (more to come after lunch)
