Moab - Read and RESPOND
This is a MUST READ type of email. If you love MOAB read this email, send it to ALL you know, and then act on its instructions. This email is a long read, but the next 20 years of closed routes in Moab will be even longer so take the time to read and digest this email and help us keep things open for you. Here at Utah Shared Access Alliance (www.usaall.org) we work hard everyday to keep public land open for your use and enjoyment. Sometimes in the thick of things groups and individuals on the same side of the issue get competitive and forget what really matters. This time and this email is not one of those competitive moments. USA-ALL is working hard on the Moab RMP, but it doesn't make sense to have many separate groups working independently on the same issue, espeacially one this big and important. It just isn't smart or efficient. As such USA-ALL is in lock and step with our friends and partners at Blue Ribbon Coalition on this. As much as I would love USA-ALL to get credit and glory for this email and the associated analysis, we can't. We aren't the brains or brawn behind it. And the bottom line for us is we want land open no matter who does the job or gets credit for it. Also it doesn't make sense for us to write virtually the same email or the same summary analysis of the Moab RMP as BRC has already done. So in order to use our time and energy more wisely we are sending BRC's email alert to you. PLEASE, read it, act on it, and forward it to others. This will be the mother of all land use plans in the world's greatest motorized Mecca! You must submit your comments now and yes they do matter. Read on and have a great weekend! -Mike Swenson- Executive Director, USA-ALL
