Just curious if any of the women are planning on running this series.
It seems the Praire City GP had eleven women entries. I'm thankful for the turnout It just shows how popular the sport has become and that it's just not for men. I plan on going to as many as possible this year, if work allows but I am currenlty working weekends. There goes that thought. Hopefully I can make the Shasta Dam GP since it's in my back yard.

Phirechick,

I don't plan on riding in the harescramble/X-country series at this time. I
am not all that fast but LOVE the technical/rocky stuff and am gearing myself
more towards enduro's. I don't know much about harescrambles but from
my (possibly inaccurate) impression they seem to be geared more towards
speed on wider trails than in tight, technical, single track trails.
Please, correct me if I am mistaken. DId you ride at Prairie City? How did
you do? Do you plan on riding in any of the upcoming enduro's/family
enduro's? I am "training" for the Little Piglet Family Enduro in March...and
then maybe an attempt at the real thing in May???? We'll See!
Good Luck on the upcoming season!

Karna,

I didn't get the chance to ride the Praire City GP. I sure wanted too though.
If all goes well I'll ride the Old Crow HS and the Phantom HS. And if I can work out the shift trade I'll ride the Shasta Dam GP. As far as HS not being technical or not having any great single tracks I think that you would be pleasantly surprised at how fun they are. I know Shasta Dam has some great trails with lots of rocks (ouch). Currently I have Sundays off and would love to ride Stonyford. Let me know when you plan a trip out there. We've been riding in Reno (moomrocks) every weekend since Thanksgiving and I sure would like a closer drive at this point.
