I've heard that there are programs that will effectively move your mouse at some predetermined interval to fool your ISP so you don't get disconnected if you leave your computer for a while. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Wont having your email program check every 10 mins or so keep the connection alive?

there are keep alive scripts out there. Try download.com ?

I may not even be in the right ballpark here, but at home (dial-up) there is a box to select how long to let your pc sit idle before disconnecting. You can choose "Never" in that window. I think it reads "Disconnect after _______ if idle"
If you guys are talking about some serious programming stuff, I'll shut up and go back to my corner.:)

That won't work with the ISP I'm using.:(

I tried an e-mail checker program that I found at download .com, but it didn't do the trick. I like the program, otherwise. I found a few other gems while I was there.

I did a Google search and found what I was looking for.

Thanks, guys.
