This was the first ride for this season and a shake down for Spider on his new YZ250f. Track was perfect but the temps were a bit chilly at 38 degrees.
Spider adjusted to the new bike pretty quick

Some guys thought it was warm enough to go swimming (bottom of a large downhill that got pretty rough from braking bumps)

While a couple 2 strokers learned they should have jetted for the temps

just a couple more :blah: The story we heard (not confirmed) was that this track was built as a practice facility for Tommy Hofmaster and is based loosely on the Red Bud layout with a 3/4 size Larocco leap and many elevation changes. The track gets rutted and whooped out but has great dirt.
an uphill corner leading to the ski jump

Spider in the same corner (no he wasn't falling even tho the style is terrible)

One of Thormans buddies was trying to purchase a 250f From Hofmaster, a 450 showed up! I hope I see your son out at the track, Mendota should be starting soon, and there is the weather thing!

Yep, our first ride was rhe same day over here at Big Air Motocross. The back section straight was a slopfest (still a little frozen too). All in all a good day in the sun.
