tx246 and I are planning to ride Muenster on Saturday. If this rain stops today it should be primo traction and dust-free (hopefully).

Anybody interested?

I'll be there with one son and one nephew. Look for lots of new wash-outs and downed trees after these heavy rains. You can't just fly around a corner assuming you know the trail. Shouldn't be dusty, though.

Gene, I'll call you later this evening. Your number is in my personal cell which I don't have on me at the moment.

That was fun but it sure was rougher than I remember it being. I shouldn't go so long in between trips.

I wore myself out pretty well, too, yesterday. It was a real struggle to get the bikes washed and the van unloaded. Think I'll wait for cool day to come along; either that or get started earlier. It was fun, though. Good to see Gene and John and Seldon again.

I agree about the heat. I really didn't notice it until we stopped riding. But loading the bikes, getting home, and washing & unloading the bikes was tough. I don't think I've been more tired after a ride.

We'll just have to start riding earlier in the day. Can't let a little summer heat stop me from riding...

But I had a great time! My sons and I had fun in Pete's gate. We got ourselves in and out of some tight spots. Group effort was required to get bikes over/past/through a few obstacles. I just told them it was helping them build character!
