My KX125...

i got a 1996 KX125, im from MA and my name is chris. well i race NESC Motocross League...125cc Novice. anywho, i lost that retarded boot that goes on teh exaust where the expantion pipe meets the silencer...i dont want to buy a new one because ill lose that too...i have 2 pipes that dont exactly match up...i was wondering if i can put any peice of heavy duty rubber on there with some hose clams and it wont melt...thanks...ttyl.
