I have the weirdest PC-it has a mind of its own-i set things in msconfig to not start up and it works for 2 weeks-then for no reason Kazaa appears back in start up and hogs all the bandwidth, it also doesnt switch the monitor off after 10mins like its set to(but will once if its in the mood)you get those promts that say 'do this again without the reminder' and i tick the box and it ignors me(like the female i live with) and puts the box up again next time-am i all alone in this or are PCs getting AI.

my old P233 hasn't done anything suprising in years. It's been probably 6 years since I built this thing, I've finally broken it's spirit ;)

I know how ya feel my IBM has gone through 2 major surgeries since I've bought it (new harddrive, reprograming, the works). I used to get alot of blue screen bombs before untill finally my modem died and had to have some costly repairs. Just as bad as my bike! Hopefully next christmas there will be a new puter' sittin under the tree.:) :p

Mine Flipped me off one morning last week, no lie.
Clicked my connect and it flipped me off. That's when you know you're going to have a great day.

Tried scanning with ad-aware using their most recent reference file? Kazaa contains spyware which can have many undesirable effects...

Maru my Kazaa did that sometimes but not all the time-to close it completely just press Ctrl whilst holding it then ALT then delete-this give you all the processes running and you can close each one you dont want to run-kazaa is able to be brought under control with a bit of effort(unlike this pc)BTW screen switched off after 10mins today(like it is set to)weird.
