Nat. H/H down south 3/12

Any of you north so cal boys going to make it down south for the national hare and hound on march 12? It is at superstition mountain in the ocotillo area. I know there will be a few of us low cal guys out there and you're welcome to camp/pit with us. :cool:

I'm going to give it a shot in the beginner class on my 125... I just sent out for my AMA card, so I should have it by then... Is there a way to join D38 before the race? I know I'llhave to do that too... I did'nt see an application on the side winders site...

Yes you can join D38 before the race during sign-ups. I would get there early as the last race there were about 90 riders and they all seemed to be signing up that morning. There will probablly be more participants for this race. My son is probablly going to do this race in the 125 beginner class as well so take it easy on him. :laugh:

is their a way to mail it in? that's what I want to do but their is no application on-line like for D37 that I can find...

i suggest to sign up in the Vet, Beginner class, it's has more riders than the 125 class and is an older group of riders.
and i would just sign up for D38 before the race, it wont take long and i would also sign up for AMA at the race, it took me almost two months to get my AMA card, if you sign up for your ama card at the race you will get a receipt with a temporary ama number that you can use until you get your official card and ama number.

well I e-mailed the d37 stewart & my numbers and temp ama card are on the way so I'm stoked... now I just have to join d38 and I'm good to go for March 12 event... and the luceren d37events... I'm goofey I want to do the events at superstition cause I love the place, but I joined d37 for the close to home events... I'm pretty excieted it's going to be awsome march 12th

I shot the nationals down there last year and it was a blast, fast terrain, a 4 piece Mariachi band, fresh homemade soft tacos and a Tacate style finish shoot, you'll have fun, I'll be there on the 12th than at HBMC on Sunday, a good race weekend

I got my number and stuff yesterday... turns out in D37 if you sign up for the begginer class you have to run red numbers and can only do one loop :ugg: Even if you check the box that says I want black numbers, you still get red one's... so maybe when I get to the race I can buy new numbers or something, I know I'd want to do both loops, or have to option to if I want...

when you sign up for d38 they will give you a set of black numbers and have the choice of running one or two laps :cool:
