I am thinking about flying to CA for the first round of the National Harescramble series Feb 2. The trip would take me 4 days one way if I drove it and hauled my bike, flying would be 3 days round trip. I was wondering if anyone that lived near the race had a reliable 4 stroke that I could race on in the A class? It would be a one time deal and make my trip a lot shorter. I am racing the series, but don't think I could make it to the first race because of the distance and time off work. I would be able to pay $400 up front (when I got there) for the 3hr race. I am a responsible adult and would pay for any damages if any. If anyone is interested let me know within the next couple weeks so I can make arrangements. Thanks

Thanks for the link LocoCD, I went to the classified section and e-mailed a couple people that had their bikes for sale. I got a deal going with a good kid that has an 99XR400 that is going to be at the race. This actually might work out:) I will be racing the 4 Stroke A class if this goes through.

Shipping the bike was my first thought. Arrive by plane get bike and go race, but setting everything up to work out just right was going to be a chore. The best rate I could get was $650 down and back and that was without a special crate. I was worried I'd show up in CA and no bike.

Try going to the D36 site and joining the mailing list. From there you can post to that list and might get some good response.

If I were not in the same race i might consider loaning you my big 450 for the cash....but that is cause i am low on cash! :D
