Lookin for a off road bike, not a mx. Don't know what i
want though. I've ridden a tt-r125 a lot and i rode a
Honda 230 the other week and it seemed really nice, just
don't know if it's to big and should go for a 150. Open to
all suggestions. Thank a lot

I think you should get a honda 150 or a 230, the 150 might get old after a little while, both reliable bikes and really fun

When I was your size about a year ago I thought the same way. I thought that I should get a 150 over the 230 because I thought the 230 might sit too high. Well i ended up with a 2002 XR250 and it is perfect. I am now 5'8" but I was your size when I got it and I did fine. At your height I wouldn't worry about seat height. If you are a somewhat experienced rider you will get bored with the 150 and the 230. I'd say get a really nice 2004 XR250, which would save some money, and you will love it!

GodFather2, i think a CRF150R would serve you well and it has a light weight package and is faster then a CRF230F.

He said no mx bike.

I agree with the xr250. May feel a tad tall at first, but you'll have more fun in the long run. Good luck!
