This should be in the flame forum because it was such a b!!!!! getting all my parts together and I forgot circlips.  I've been looking forward to assembling my bike for weeks and I forgot circlips!  :| :(

So I drive all over town to every hardware store, why don't they carry things like this dammit!  They carry all sorts of BS that I don't need!  :)

So my question is does anyone near Philly have a couple of spare 15mm circlips, or does anyone know where I can get some.  I doubt the local so-sucki dealer stocks them.

You need to tell people what type of bike and what brand of piston you are using. Piston pin circlips are not usually interchangeable.

You still haven't told anyone if you are running a Wiseco, OEM, Pro X, or Vertex piston.

They came in yestarday at the local dealer. I went on suzuki's dealer search and called all the local dealers for the dowel pins. Can't remember if I got to Mt Holley, but I'll try later today.

I beleive this would be a Wiseco piston.

please don't believe in this case Fark. when looking at bolts and such if it walks like a duck talks like a duck it is probably a duck but with the piston if it walks like a duck it could be easily a painted penguin with a bad back. If you have a wiseco piston kit it is more than likely you would have piston, rings, piston pin,and clips already in one neat little box.

for future reference, in theback of your manual there is probably a few blank pages for notes. And just like what the little boy told Santa,"write it down you forget some stuff last year"
IE... TOP END (piston part#12345, piston pin part#12346, piston clips part#12347, rings part#12348,gaskets etc. etc..........) when your dealer gets to know and trust you , a lot of times if you have this info on the phone call with the parts man you made his job easier and he might not make you drop off a deposit.

clean your PM box also,
