i have 1980 cr250r and all it needs are fork boots. anyone know where to get some fork boots that would fit up just like the original equipment? can get aftermarket boots and use wire ties, but thats not the right way.

The parts you are looking for are 51611-430-000 for the fork boot and 51612-430-010 for the upper clamp. The boots like most rubber parts for Elsinores of that time are long gone, but you can get after-market boots from Daystar via your local dealer and Parts Unlimited. Just measure the fork tube (39mm) and the fork leg (?). The clamps are available from http://www.westernhillshonda.com for $4.95 each. The parts catalog does not show a clamp for the bottom of the boot. Use a zip tie.
