Be sure and go to your User CP and update information relating to your location, type of riding, etc.
I am going to move this thread to the General Bike Repair forum so it will get more views. You will need to give people the brand, model, year, etc. for them to really be helpful in their answers.
Grab a spot on the couch, crank up a new post here and tell us a bit about yourself. How long you have been riding, what kind of riding you prefer, where you are located, etc. We will do our best to hook you up with some fellow dirt bike enthusiasts.
Again, welcome to the site, and shout if you have any questions!
hi there again I am 12 years old I bought my bike from a friend in the state's I have had my bike seen's may early june I blow the headgaskets it has been a long summer with out my bike I could really you's some help getting it back on the road my dad took it a part with a freind of his. The freind took the part to work to clean it up .but when he brought it back the time was wrong the bike is called Amerisport 90py cc 4 stocke PLEASE help me and my dad put it back to gather. THANKS mini J
wow - Amerisport - i have no idea how to set the timing on one of them - your best bet is to look on the flywheel for a mark that says TDC or TF or T or something - you can then lay the cam in and hook up the chain (the lobes should be almost perpendicular to the valves) - there are sometimes 2 lines of the cam gear that line up flush with the head when the flywheel is timed correctly to TDC.....once hooked up (and bolted down if the cam gets bolted) run it through with the kickstarter - make sure that you see the intake open, then a stroke later the exhaust (ie, intake, compression, fire, exhaust)
May I suggest you purchase a service manual for a Honda XR100. I don't have a clue what an Amerisport is but, if it is a single cylinder four stroke, it is most likely a XR100 clone made in China. A manual for a XR100 should show you what you need to know.
