Need Help with Yamaha IT400

Ok well i just bought a Yamaha IT400 for 150 bucks and im trying to figure out the year of the bike its either a 1978 or 1976 cause i need some parts i need to buy justt like a new brake pedal and a new shift pedal. i would really love the help idk if this is the serial but i found it on the engine, 1w6-003524

its alright i think i figured it out when i was looking around last night it says its a Yamaha IT400D and D's were made in 1977 cause in 1976 they named it IT400C and in 1978 it was IT400E so thanks though for helping. i will post pics of it as well. so it wasn't a bad deal for $150 cause it has brand new dirt tires still has the headlight but i need to find a new back light cause its missing. anyone know where i could buy any parts from?

Also im new to riding. its my first bike so im gonna restore it.

I have a '79 IT400. Kinda hard to find parts for it. I also bought mine for $150.00. Needed a good carb rebuild, but after that runs like a raped ape. Starts about mid-way through first kick. Keep an eye on the drum brakes, they can be finickey at times. Local Yammy dealer had parts for mine, unless you wanna spend the full dealer price, I'd say do some looking on fleebay or other sites. Some of the YZ400 stuff works on it too. Good Luck and Have Fun!!!
