Does Renthal make a set of aftermarket bars for the TTR-125L?

Does anyone have any experience with new bars on this bike. My Sons TTR is in need of new bars.

Thanks

It takes the same 7/8" bars as 80cc minis. Just about all handlebar companies make them (including Renthal). Call one of the DRN sponsors from the left side of this screen and they can get you what you need.

FYI, big bike bars will also fit, but I tried it and wide bars on that small bike just doesn't feel right.

Plus, big bike bars are not as tall as the bars on most smaller bikes. I found a set of ATV bars that were a perfect match for the bars on my son's XR100R. I had to sand all the coating/paint off the throttle side of the bars though which was a minor pain in the butt.

We (BBR) sell a ton of Mini Hi bend handlebars. We carry TAG brand but just about any other manufacturer makes them. The Mini Hi adds about 1/2" or so to the stock bar height and is much tougher.

OldGuy, I live in Pewaukee :D, when is the race at Aztalan? Sunday?...Have never been there to see races. Do you know what classes are racing?

Also what is a good time to show up as a spectator? I might just take my three Sons out there and stop by your trailer ;)

This Sunday (and til Oct the 2nd Sunday of each month) all classes from 4-7yr old 50's on up to the 125 and 250 A's are going. Racing starts at 9AM and goes til at least 4pm. Best time is all day (great food at the foodshack  ).
If you need directions there PM and I'll get the to you.
I checked and I have a pair of renthal CR bends for mini-s (80s) that we got for my sons YZ85 as backups available. It is slightly taller than the standard YZ bend and is close to the bars on my wife's TTR125.

Old Guy, thanks, no directions needed as I have been there before to "take a peak" but never there for the races. There is a very good chance I will be there so if you don't mind, bring those bars.

Is there a "landmark" in order to find your spot? or your truck make and color?

Thanks

Dave, thanks. Hopefully I will see you there. BTW, is there a membership required in order to be a spectator? or can we just pay admission and watch all day long.

What about adults that act like 8 year olds?

Hey oldguy,

What was the part number of those Renthal bars that you had? And how wide were they? I bought a set of "mini-hi" bars and did not measure them until i got home. They were over 31" wide! I expected more like 29" or less. Thanks.

Thanks for the P/N oldguy. The #757 Renthal bars that i got just say "Mini-Hi" I will look at getting the 717's or something close instead. I guess i need to study Renthal's bar chart.

OK - i checked:
the #757 that i got are 797mm wide (31.4") and 132mm (5.2") tall.
the #717's are 740mm wide (29.1") and 96mm (3.8") tall.

Now i have to decide here since my wife does want the extra height but not the width.
