ok, i'm in the process of repacking my fmf silencer(with spark arrestor). i took the canister off, and all the nasty stuff inside. i also took the other end off the canister off. now, how do i clean the inside of the canister?. how to i clean the tube to prep for new material?

Grab a wire brush and have at it! :)

I always use a torch and burn the old residue out. It catches fire and burns until all that is left is ash. Then I wire brush it off. Looks like brand new.

If you can get someone to sandblast or glass-bead it, I would highly recommend it :cool: . My father works in a shop with a glass beader, and have used him to clean the inner part of my silencer. It tooks about 5 minutes and came out perfectly clean !!
