needle clip adjustment

02 200 ...needing to know how to remove the throttle cable from the carb slide so i can make a needle clip adjustment...thanks guys ....don't want to screw anything up !!!thanks again for the info

You don't have to remove carb..........just loosen two phillips screws and rotate it to you to unscrew cap. Get some hemostats.........You got cap off right?.......push spring up and use hemos to secure spring. Then slide cable down and out. Its just in a groove. Then with that off, loosen nut down in slide and needle will come out.
