I have some successful experience in rebuilding shocks for cheapo. Hammer a new bushing in the old seal, blah blah. I offered to fix a friends rm125 shock and the shaft is pitted and the shimpack is wallowed to an oval shape. Given the extreme junkiness of this shock would there be any hope? I'm not gonna fix it if the pits in the shaft will cause a leak. What are my chances of no leaks after I sand the shaft smooth[er]? :ugg:

LOL...Full Metal Jacket?

Private Joker is so funny I'm gonna let him **** my sister.

Hey Pile, don't fall...that would break my f'ing heart!!

Maybe one of the better boot camp scenes in all of cinema.

I've seen some shocks in what I would consider very poor shape, but I have not seen a shimstack distorted that bad yet.

The best boot camp sceneI like is when John Candy mud wrestles the girls at the go go bar in STRIPES with Bill Murray .The shock seal is a crapshoot.
