:aj: Hey guys, I'm Jason and I just bought a used 05 CRF250 about a week ago. Quick history on the bike and why its used. A father came into the dealer that I wanted to about a month ago looking to buy a bike for his son and himself so they could ride together. Well the son kept crashing and lost interest, and the father felt the 250 had way too much power so he sold the bikes back to the dealer.

In the time he had the 250 he installed the Works Connection Left & Right engine guards and skid plate, plus One Inudustries graphic set. A new CRF250 at the dealership I went to was $5800 before tax and all that stuff. I got mine for $6200 out the door with Fox Pro Forma boots, Arai VX-Pro helmet and some Scott googles:cool:. The best part about it is, I'm still on the same tank of gas the last guy was on, I think he only put about 2 hrs on the bike the whole time he owned it.

So right now I've already put a weekend on the bike, waiting for this weekend to come so I can ride some more, practice and get better, and maybe I'll do an MX race or Harescramble next year :p . So maybe I'll see some of you WA riders at the Barn sometime :)

Welcome to the site

Thanks for setting up your User CP and updated information relating to your location. Grab a spot on the couch and tell us a bit about yourself. How long you have been riding, what kind of riding you prefer, where you are located, etc. We will do our best to hook you up with some fellow dirt bike enthusiasts. We have a large contingent of riders along the Wet Coast and a fair number scattered about other parts of the states.

Again, welcome to the site and shout if you have any questions!

Well, I haven't been riding long maybe a year or so but always on someone else's bike:( (XR100, RM80, etc). The 250 is my first bike and so far I've put like 15 hrs on it already and I've only had it about a week plus I work fulltime. Right now I've been riding an MX track but I think I'd like to get into Harescrambles:yikes: . I love back country riding and just getting lost and just enjoying the ride. And I'm located on the Eastside in good ol' Washington state
