Hi everyone! Thank you for having this site and allowing me to use it. I am 42 and trying to get back into MX racing after about 25 years. I have a 2000 CR 250r and try to stay away from the sand as much as possible. I know, I know, look at where I am...but for both physical and financial reasons (I am old and mend slowly and sand eats up bikes), I still try. I have found a few nice tracks around the area. I hope to get in a race sometime this month. I'll keep you posted. There are a HUGE amount of trails around here if you don't mind the loose stuff. Thanks again for listening, be safe and have fun, Jim :ride:

Welcome to the site

Thanks for setting up your User CP and updated information relating to your location. Grab a spot on the couch.

AS I mentioned in the other thread, watch the New Mexico trip next spring thread in the North Texas Smack Pack forum. JMD has gone out there for at least a couple of years and from what I hear has found a great place to ride. It will be desert, but it will also be a great chance to meet some folks from DRN.

I was within a few miles of El Paso this weekend myself, check out the ride report here. We go to West Texas and Big Bend often with our bikes. They have to be DS machines though.

Again, welcome to the site and shout if you have any questions!
