Hi all,
I'm trying to teach my wife to trail ride. I wanted to get her started on a quad ATV but she stubbornly wants to ride a dirt bike. Good for her but its a steep learning curve. She knows how to ride a street bike but has never been off road before. I've been able to get her going riding around a field but that gets old quick.
I have been trying to find some trails that suit a beginner trail rider. I am in Ohio but will travel if necessary. So far I tried Begley's campground in the Wayne National Forest but that was too challenging. Right off the jump there are climbs that are too much for first time. Then we tried Maume State Forest but that was deep sand and also too challenging. This weekend we are going to try Beer Creek Amphitheater.
Interested in any suggestions you have. Looking for trails that are relatively flat with only minor climbs to ease her into the sport. Jumps and bumps and berms are fine.
